The 1" Hunter PGV-100G solenoid valve is a robust and reliable globe valve designed for residential and commercial irrigation installations requiring secure water flow control. Its reinforced plastic construction and double-beaded diaphragm design ensure a watertight operation and long service life, even under demanding conditions.
It features both internal and external manual bleed, allowing the valve to be opened and inspected quickly and easily without stressing the system. The captive cover screws prevent parts from being lost during maintenance and can be operated with various tools (flat-head, Phillips, or socket wrench), making field servicing easier.
The PGV-100G is equipped with a 24 V AC encapsulated solenoid, with a captive core and high-quality connection wires, ensuring reliable operation with all types of standard irrigation controllers. It operates across a wide flow range of 0.05 to 9 m³/h (0.7–150 l/min) and recommended pressures of 1.5 to 10 bar, making it suitable for most sprinkler and drip irrigation zones.
Its compact dimensions (13.3 cm high, 11.2 cm long, and 6 cm wide) allow it to be installed in small valve boxes. In addition, the solenoid valve supports the installation of accessories such as the Accu Sync™ pressure regulator and latching solenoids for battery-powered controllers, making it a highly versatile solution for new installations or renovations of existing irrigation systems.
