Hydraulic performance curves

Refer to the performance curve to see the relationship between the available flow rate and the installation’s head.

Dimensions drawing

Check the pump dimensions and the available space in the technical room before installation.

Important: the pump must be selected according to the filter’s maximum allowable flow rate. An oversized pump may push more water than the filter media can process correctly, reducing filtration efficiency. The pump must be installed and electrically protected in accordance with applicable regulations.

Frequently asked questions about the PQS Classic 0.5 HP pump

What flow rate does this pump provide?

According to the manufacturer’s technical data sheet, model 1106736 provides a nominal flow rate of 7 m³/h.

Does the pump include a prefilter?

Yes. It includes a large-capacity strainer basket and a transparent lid to retain leaves and other debris before they enter the pump housing.

Can it be installed above the pool water level?

Yes. It is a self-priming pump, and the manufacturer specifies a suction capacity of up to 3 metres above the water level, provided the hydraulic installation is correct.

Is it a single-phase pump?

Yes. It operates on a single-phase 230 V, 50 Hz power supply.

Which filter should it be combined with?

It must be combined with a filter whose allowable flow rate is equal to or greater than the pump’s 7 m³/h. It is not advisable to install a pump with a higher flow rate than the filter can handle.
