Alka Plus of Chemicamp It is a powder product formulated from sodium bicarbonate, designed for increase total alkalinity of water and stabilize the pH. Adequate alkalinity improves chemical balance, prevents uncontrolled variations in pH and reduces corrosion of pool materials.
According to the most recent studies, alkalinity values should be maintained between 125 and 150 ppm. Outside this range, pH fluctuations, excessive chlorine consumption, water turbidity or eye irritation may occur. Alka Plus It helps maintain crystal clear water, with a stable pH and a more efficient disinfectant action.
WATER CHARACTERISTICS ACCORDING TO ALKALINITY LEVELS
Low alkalinity
(less than 100 ppm)- Low pH levels.

Ideal alkalinity
(between 100 and 150 ppm)- Easy control pH.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AND DOSAGE
With the filtration system running, dissolve the necessary amount of product in a bucket with 10 liters of water and add it spread over the surface of the pool. Do not apply to skimmers.
Indicative dose: To increase 10 ppm total alkalinity, add 1 kg of Alka Plus per 50 m³ of water.
Maintain total alkalinity between 80 and 120 ppm and the pH between 7.2 and 7.6 for optimal chemical balance.
