Description
Gre AR500 skimmer basket, an original replacement that acts as a leaf-collecting prefilter inside the skimmer of your Gre above-ground or in-ground pool. It traps leaves, insects, and large debris before they reach the cartridge or sand filter, thereby protecting the filtration system and extending its service life.
Made of plastic resistant to UV rays and chlorine, it is a regular maintenance component that should be checked and emptied regularly so that the skimmer operates at maximum efficiency.
Main features
- Original Gre replacement, reference AR500.
- Prefilter function: traps leaves and coarse debris before the filter.
- Plastic resistant to weather, chlorine, and UV rays.
- Easy to remove and clean during regular pool maintenance.
Recommended maintenance
It is recommended to check the skimmer basket at least once a week during the swimming season, emptying it of leaves and dirt to prevent reduced suction flow. A cracked or deformed basket should be replaced, as it allows debris to pass through to the filter and may affect the filtration unit.
