Gre presents its Sunbay range of pools with structures made of French Scots pine. This supports their sustainable development, as all its local suppliers in France source wood from forests of so-called “native” pine. This type of pine has more sapwood than pines from northern forests. It also offers a more substantial impregnation zone, ensuring a service life of more than ten years thanks to deeper penetration of the autoclave treatment.

The wood used for these pools is PEFC-certified (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification), which currently covers 8.1 million hectares, 62,000 owners, and 3,000 companies in the timber sector. Together, they provide consumers with the assurance that products bearing the PEFC mark are part of a responsible sustainable forest management strategy.

Autoclave treatment is carried out using products with CTB B+ certification, confirming that the products comply with this certification, as well as the conformity and effectiveness of the process. This treatment is the best solution for protecting wood directly exposed to the elements or in contact with the ground, and consists of impregnating the wood core with preservatives.

The Braga model stands out for its rectangular design. Its straight lines give it a distinctive, understated look, making it adaptable to any garden setting.

The structure of the Braga pool, made of 46 mm-thick boards., must be installed using metal reinforcement beams that are embedded in the concrete slab; their installation is part of the structure assembly process. This reinforcement is mandatory and must be carried out on a concrete base with a minimum thickness of 17 cm and guaranteed concrete quality.
