Cepex industrial-series PVC butterfly valve Ø 160 with stainless steel shaft, EPDM seal, and gearbox

The new Industrial PVC butterfly valve series, Ø 160, with a stainless-steel stem, EPDM seal, and manual gear operator, was developed in response to the need for innovation and improvement of the valves available on the market.

This is a compact valve made of polymers with high mechanical and environmental resistance, featuring a food-grade EPDM gate seal and a stainless-steel stem.

Features.

• Designed in thermoplastic material for the most severe conditions, thus preventing any corrosion problems.
• Fully resistant to impact and UV radiation, allowing the valve to be used in the most demanding conditions.
• The valve is completely lightweight, reducing the effort required for handling and facilitating installation and maintenance.
• PN 10 (150 psi) for all sizes.
• Made of PP - GF, providing high mechanical and environmental resistance.
• A single-piece body ensures a long service life without leakage problems.
• It has flange holes compatible with various materials to adapt to the most demanding applications (PVC - U / PVC - C / PP-H / PVDF / ABS).

Advantages

• It features an ergonomic handle. Both the handle and the position indicator plate are made of thermoplastic material, offering excellent corrosion resistance. The handle has seven different positions at 15° intervals, serving as a position indicator. It also includes a lock to prevent unwanted operation.
• Manual gear operator available for easy operation, while also offering precise flow control for accurate flow-rate modulation.
