Algae are single-celled plant organisms that can develop and multiply rapidly in water, especially when your pool water is warm. Algae contain spores inside them that enter your pool water. To prevent their growth, in addition to the usual disinfectant you use for your pool, you can use CTx500 Algaecide.
The dosage of algaecide varies according to the shape of your pool:
Dosage.
- 1 ppm = 1 mg/l = 1 g/m.
Circular pool.
