Santoprene tubes are the most important component of a peristaltic dosing pump and must be in perfect condition for it to inject the product correctly.
These tubes can deteriorate over time and with intensive use, losing elasticity and becoming hardened; in some cases, they may even develop cracks through which the liquid being dosed escapes.
Santoprene is a high-performance vulcanized thermoplastic elastomer (TPV) with very high flexibility, making it ideal for withstanding operation with the dosing pump drive rollers.
Another very important feature of this tube is its high resistance to the chemicals commonly used in swimming pools.
