The body of the SCP Superpool Wound filters is made of blue, corrosion-resistant fiberglass with UV stabilization. It is constructed using fiberglass winding with polyester resin, providing great strength and allowing it to operate at pressures of up to 2.5 bar. Its transparent screw-on lid allows the inside of the filter to be easily checked at any time. The filter body rests on a rotating base made of injected thermoplastic material, providing excellent stability and greatly facilitating installation. The filter is supplied with a 6-way selector valve, its corresponding 1½" connections, a high-quality glycerin pressure gauge, and an air bleeder.
