Foot valves play a fundamental role in dosing equipment, serving as key components for ensuring the effectiveness and safety of the pool water treatment process.
They prevent the liquid being dosed from flowing back into the product container.
Thanks to the filter they incorporate, they prevent foreign elements from entering the dosing device, thereby avoiding damage to peristaltic tubes or electromagnetic heads, depending on the type of doser.
This foot valve model from SEKO is equipped with FPM seals, a material with high resistance to a wide range of chemicals. This ensures that the seals do not degrade or deteriorate when exposed to chlorine. These seals withstand the passage of time very well, maintaining their elasticity and airtightness, ensuring that the valve remains operational for a long period.
The connection to the dosing unit’s tubes is made using a barb and connecting nut for 8 x12 mm tubes.
