They prevent the liquid being dosed from flowing back into the product container.
The built-in filter prevents foreign objects from entering the dosing device, thereby avoiding damage to the peristaltic tubes or electromagnetic heads, depending on the type of dosing unit.
This SEKO foot valve model is equipped with EPDM seals, a material highly resistant to a wide range of chemicals. This ensures that the seals do not degrade or deteriorate when exposed to chlorine. These seals withstand the passage of time very well, retaining their elasticity and tightness, ensuring that the valve remains operational for a long period.
The connection to the dosing unit tubes is made using a barb and connection nut for 4 x 6 mm tubes.
