The replacement electrode/cell Ref. 70327 is designed to restore chlorine production in low-capacity salt chlorinators when the original cell has deteriorated through use. With 5 plates, it provides a nominal output of 12 g/h, sufficient to keep the water clear and disinfected in small and medium-sized swimming pools, with less need for chemical adjustments.
In the event of symptoms such as low production, depleted-cell warnings, or fluctuations in disinfectant levels despite a correct pH, replacing the cell is usually the most effective solution. Installation is straightforward: switch off the power and water flow, loosen the connections (a 13 mm open-ended wrench is usually sufficient), remove the old cell, and fit the new one, observing the correct installation direction. Take the opportunity to clean the cell housing, check the seals, and bleed the air before resuming operation.
