It is very important that your selector valve sight glass is not discolored and is completely transparent, as it allows you to monitor the backwashing and rinsing processes of your filter. If the water shown through it is dirty, this indicates that the backwashing is being carried out correctly. Once the water appears clean, the process has finished and you should proceed with rinsing. At the beginning of this final process, the same thing will happen: the water will initially appear dirty or cloudy; once it appears clean, the process will be complete. Return your selector valve to the filtration position so that the equipment can continue with the purification cycle.
