Preguntas frecuentes sobre DOLPHIN LOGIC SERIES SPARE PARTS
Which Dolphin Logic Series replacement parts are compatible with the Eco 40, 50, and 60 models?
Dolphin Logic Series replacement parts such as traction tracks, pulleys, and filter panels are directly compatible across the Logic Eco 40, Eco 50, and Eco 60 models, as they use the same Maytronics chassis. However, transmission components and motor blocks differ depending on whether the model cleans only the floor or also cleans the walls and waterline.
To check whether a part is compatible, locate the identification plate next to the pool cleaner’s turbine and check the official parts diagram before replacing electrical components or bearings.
My Dolphin Logic Eco 50 pool cleaner slips on à carrelage and won’t climb the walls. Which replacement part should I change?
A Dolphin Logic Eco 50’s climbing failure is caused by worn traction tracks or loss of grip in the Wonder brushes. When the rubber tracks lose tension or tread, the robot slips while trying to climb the pool’s curved floor-to-wall transition.
Replacing the brushes with Wonder foam rings restores grip on glazed surfaces or à carrelage. Also check that the filter panels are not clogged, as poor turbine flow reduces the suction force that holds the unit against the vertical wall.
What is the difference between spring and ultra-fine filters in the Logic Series?
The main difference is the particle retention size: spring filters trap leaves and coarse debris, while ultra-fine cartridges capture dust down to 50 microns. Using the right filter prevents the pool cleaner’s suction flow from decreasing during the cleaning cycle.
- Spring fine filter: recommended for startup after winter or for pools with dense vegetation.
- 50-micron ultra-fine filter: suitable for daily maintenance and trapping fine sediment or pollen.
- Combination sets: let you alternate the panels according to the level of dirt in the water.
The cable on my Dolphin Logic Eco 40 keeps twisting during the cycle. Do I have to buy a complete replacement?
Cable tangling is usually resolved by stretching the floating cable out in the sun to eliminate its twist memory, but if the problem persists, the roller bearings or swivel connector need to be checked. If the outer PVC sheath has cuts or the internal copper wires are deformed, the entire cable must be replaced to prevent short circuits.
To prevent this issue, always remove the pool cleaner from the water when its cycle is complete, and wind the cable into wide loops without straining the power supply connector.
How often should the tracks and belts on Dolphin Logic Series replacement parts be changed?
The drive tracks and timing belts on the Logic Series should be replaced every 2 or 3 seasons under normal use. Exposure to chlorine, chemicals, and sunlight degrades the elastomer’s elasticity, causing slack in the motor transmission.
- Visible looseness: if the track has more than 1 cm of vertical play over the side guide.
- Worn teeth: cause the inner drive pulleys to slip.
- Rubber hardening: reduces overall grip at the waterline.
I’ve found water in the motor compartment of my Dolphin Logic Eco 60. How do I choose the right seal?
The motor block gasket for the Dolphin Logic Eco 60 should be selected according to the chassis technical diagram, ensuring it is made of nitrile rubber resistant to chlorinated products. Water entering the sealed compartment will irreversibly damage the electronic board and suction turbine unless fixed immediately.
When installing the new gasket, clean the contact surfaces to remove any dirt or limescale, and apply a thin film of neutral silicone grease to the profile to ensure a watertight seal without overtightening the perimeter screws.
How can I tell whether the power supply or motor is faulty in a Dolphin Logic Series robot?
To identify the cause of the fault, check whether the power supply switch lights up the indicator when connected to the mains. If the transformer emits light and continuous voltage but the unit does not start its cycle after being submerged, the fault is likely in the floating cable or motor block.
If the power supply emits no indicator light or shuts off after a few seconds due to overload, disconnect the robot and switch the power supply on again by itself. If the indicator stays on, the fault is caused by a mechanical blockage in the propeller or drive bearings.
