Lyriox UV-C – Automatic ultraviolet light disinfection system

The Lyriox UV-C range has been developed to provide an advanced, effective and environmentally friendly water disinfection system. Its ultraviolet radiation technology eliminates bacteria, viruses and microorganisms without the need to add chemicals, significantly reducing the use of chlorine, bromine or other oxidants. The result is cleaner, clearer and more pleasant water for swimming, free from odors and irritation.

Made from high-strength PVC, Lyriox UV-C units are fully compatible with salt water and resistant to corrosion. They feature highly efficient germicidal lamps with an approximate service life of 9,000 h, housed in a sealed chamber with IPX5 protection. Thanks to their compact design and sealed electronic ballast, the units ensure excellent durability even in humid environments or when exposed to chemicals.

The range covers power outputs from 15 W to 110 W, catering to everything from small pools or spas to larger installations, with treatment capacities of up to 110 m³. Each model maintains an ideal balance between flow rate and UV-C radiation dose, achieving effective disinfection without reducing system pressure. The 50 W Compact model, with its “U” configuration, allows for very easy installation in confined spaces.

All Lyriox UV-C units are installed in a bypass on the return circuit and can be connected directly to the filtration pump. The simple wiring system and Ø50 mm PVC connections (or Ø63 mm for the 110 W model) ensure quick and safe installation. In addition, the unit includes a visual maintenance reminder for periodic lamp replacement, ensuring maximum disinfection efficiency.

Its operation is entirely physical: ultraviolet radiation at 253.7 nm destroys the DNA of microorganisms present in the water, preventing their reproduction. This process is immediate and produces no chemical by-products, making the system a safe, economical, and eco-friendly option for treating water in pools, spas, or decorative ponds.
