Original ESPA shaft for swimming pool pumps. The shaft is a critical component of the motor assembly: it transmits rotation, maintains internal alignment, and works together with the bearings and mechanical seal to ensure stable, vibration-free operation.
When to replace the shaft
- Play, vibration, or abnormal noise (possible wear or misalignment).
- Corrosion, marks, or wear in the mechanical seal area.
- Damage caused by water entering the motor or by dry running.
- Complete motor repair (together with bearings).
