The Dossi-5 Off-Line 01413 is installed in by-pass, in parallel with the main filtration.
Unlike the Dossi-5 In-Line, this version includes two regulating valves. These allow you to control the water flow and isolate the dispenser for refilling without needing to stop the filtration system.

How the AstralPool Dossi-5 Off-Line works
Continuous tablet dosing
The dispenser is filled with slow-dissolving chlorine tablets or bromine tablets. Part of the water in the circuit passes through the unit and comes into contact with the tablets.
Regulating the water flow allows you to adjust the amount of product that is gradually added to the pool circuit.
