Test kit analysis strips 5 in 1 PQS

With the PQS 5-in-1 analysis strips you can easily and quickly check the values of the main parameters of your pool water.

With a single strip you will get the results of free chlorine, total chlorine, pH, total alkalinity and hardness.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Immerse the strip for 5 seconds in the pool water. Shake it and wait 15 seconds. Within 30 seconds compare with the color chart on the bottle.

• Total hardness: Overall value in calcium and magnesium ions. A high value can cloud the water and if it is low it helps corrode metal parts, even the work.
• Total chlorine/bromine: Total chlorine/bromine is the sum of free chlorine/bromine and chloramines. These have no disinfectant power, cause eye irritation and a strong chlorine smell. In the case of bromines they do have disinfectant power.
• Free Chlorine/Bromine: Free Chlorine/Bromine is the available chlorine/bromine necessary to keep water free of bacteria and algae.
• pH: Measures the level of acidity or basicity of water. An imbalanced pH prevents disinfectants from fulfilling their function.
• Total alkalinity: It is the amount of carbonates and bicarbonates, it keeps the pH of the water stable.
