Kit for replacing two electrodes in Sugar Valley ionization equipment.
These electrodes are made of a copper and silver alloy.
Ionization equipment allows for very considerable savings in chemical products in the pool.
The operation of these is very simple, an electric current is passed through the electrodes, which causes Cu (copper) and Ag (silver) ions to be released, these become positively charged in the pool water, their positive charge allows them to bind to the negative sites in the cell walls of bacteria and viruses, denaturing their proteins and therefore eliminating them.
When replacing your electrodes it is very important that you check the condition of the fixing nuts as these can be affected by wear just like the electrodes. Replace them if necessary.
