Description

The pH of pool water is crucial for maintaining a safe and comfortable environment. This indicator of acidity or alkalinity directly influences the effectiveness of disinfectants, such as chlorine, which are used to combat bacteria and microorganisms.

An appropriate pH, between 7.2 and 7.6, optimizes the disinfecting action of the products and prevents eye and skin irritation in swimmers.

In addition, pH balance affects the effectiveness of other chemicals, such as algaecides and clarifiers.

An imbalanced pH can cause corrosion of the pool’s metal equipment, such as ladders, handrails, and the motor. It can also cause scale deposits and cloudy water.

That is why it is so important to maintain an appropriate pH and ensure water quality, user health, and the durability of the pool equipment.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AND DOSAGE:

The ideal water pH is between 7.2 and 7.6.

To increase the pH by one tenth, add between 250 and 300 cc for every 50 m³ of water volume.

We recommend adding the product using a dosing pump injection system. If you do not have one and add it manually, do so with extreme caution. To do this, pour the product evenly and directly into the pool water, always with the filtration system running. Pour it from its original container and avoid splashing.

This dosage is for guidance only and may vary depending on the characteristics of the water (hardness, pH, salt content, etc.).
