When should the electrode be replaced?

The electrode plates gradually wear out with use. As this wear increases, the equipment's ability to produce chlorine output may decrease.

If the chlorinator produces less chlorine than usual, it is advisable to check first the salt concentration, the condition of the plates, and the operating parameters. If the electrode has reached the end of its service life; replacing it restores the nominal capacity of the equipment.
