Foot valves have a fundamental function in dosing equipment, being key elements to guarantee effectiveness and safety in the pool water treatment process.
They prevent a possible return of the liquid to be dosed towards the product tank.
Thanks to the filter they incorporate, it prevents the passage of foreign elements to the dosing device, thus avoiding breakdowns in the peristaltic tubes or in the electromagnetic heads depending on the type of dispenser.
This foot valve model from the SEKO brand is equipped with FPM gaskets, a material with high resistance to a wide range of chemicals, this ensures that the gaskets do not degrade or deteriorate when in contact with chlorine. They are gaskets that withstand the passage of time very well, maintaining their elasticity and tightness, which ensures that the valve remains operational for a long period of time.
The connection to the dispenser tubes is made using a connection spigot and nut for 8 x 12 mm tubes.
