The replacement electrode/cell Ref. 70327 is designed to restore chlorine production in low capacity saline chlorinators when the original cell has degraded through use. with 5 plates, provides a nominal production of 12g/hr, sufficient to keep the water clear and disinfected in small and medium volume pools, with less need for chemical corrections.
Given symptoms such as low production, cell-depleted warnings or disinfectant fluctuations despite a correct pH, cell replacement is usually the most effective measure. The installation is simple: cut off power and flow, loosen connections (one 13mm open end wrench is usually enough), remove the old cell and place the new one respecting the assembly direction. Take the opportunity to clean the cell holder cup, check the seals and bleed the air before resuming service.
