Pack of 10 collector arms with ball joints for Hayward sand filters.
This pack allows you to replace all the collector arms in your Hayward filter.
The function of the laterals is to keep the filter sand or glass inside the filter, preventing it from entering the return pipe and, consequently, the pool.
The laterals have a series of very fine slots along their entire length. Water can pass through them, but the sand or glass grains cannot, as they are larger. Therefore, when the laterals break, they allow the filter media to pass freely into the pool.
It is very important to keep the laterals in perfect condition and periodically check that no sand is coming out through the return nozzles.
