Description

Taylor K-2006 multiparameter test for determining various chemical levels in water, highly suitable for maintaining pools of any size.

This analyzer kit is particularly suitable when a highly accurate measurement of the free chlorine level is required, as this level is determined using the DPD-FAS method, which does not require visual color comparison with the test tube scale.

A titration DPD-FAS is easy to perform. A buffered DPD indicator powder is added to a water sample and reacts with chlorine to produce the characteristic pink color of the standard DPD test. Ferrous ammonium sulfate (FAS) is then added drop by drop until the pink color disappears completely and permanently, indicating the endpoint of the reaction. To obtain the reading, the number of drops used to cause this color change is multiplied by the appropriate factor for the water sample size (supplied by the manufacturer).

The test stands out for the high quality of its reagents, which results in greater reliability of the results, with the levels shown being much more accurate.
