Description
PHOS-OUT 3XL is a product specially formulated to recover water with very high levels of phosphates in it, levels greater than 1000 ppb (parts per billion).
The presence of phosphates in the water causes the growth and proliferation of algae in the pool, since they feed on these phosphates and develop more quickly in their presence.
Phosphate levels in the water can be increased for various reasons, such as contributions from bathers themselves, climatic conditions such as rain or wind, dense vegetation near the pool or even water extracted from boreholes or wells and these are close to farmland. We must remember that phosphates are used in agriculture to enhance the growth of plants.
The recommended levels of phosphates should always be less than 125 ppb, so it is advisable to carry out periodic measurements of these levels.
