Description

Berlin wound sand filters.

Our customers have been relying on the Berlin (formerly Servaqua) range of sand filters for years, which reaffirms the confidence and security that their features bring them. The Berlin filter has guaranteed efficient filtration for all types of private pools worldwide for more than two decades. Its coiled finish provides great resistance, and its satin blue image gives it a much more attractive appearance compared to other filters. Berlin filters are available in diameters ranging from 500 mm to 1200 mm, so they can be installed in large volume private pools.

Its features:

  • Sand filters wound in polyester resin and fiberglass.
  • Ø 240 lid with screw closure, injected for diameters up to 900 mm. Ø 400 lid with screw closure, in polyester and fiberglass for Ø 1050 and Ø 1200 mm.
  • Finished in satin blue, with anti-dust protection by means of a “flash” of transparent polyurethane varnish, for Ø 500, Ø 600, Ø 750 and Ø 900. Blue finish for Ø 1050 and Ø 1200.
  • Assembled with collectors and diffuser in unalterable plastic materials PVC and PP.
  • Equipped with pressure gauge and manual air and water purge. For the Ø 900, Ø 1050 and Ø 1200 models, it includes a 2” sand drain.
  • 6 (+1) way side selector valve for filtration, washing, rinsing, recirculation, emptying and closing operations, in Ø 500, Ø 600 and Ø 750 models.
  • Maximum filtration speed: 50 m³/h/m².
  • Maximum working pressure: 2.5 kg/cm².
  • Inner lining in HDPE (polyethylene), blown for Ø 500 and Ø 600 mm, thermoformed ABS for Ø 750 and Ø 900 mm, polyester and fiberglass for Ø 1050 and Ø 1200.

Better finish
Apart from its coiled finish, which provides greater resistance and safety, its satin appearance, blue color, makes it stand out from conventional filters.

Easy access
By having a larger mouth diameter (400 mm) for the 1050 mm and 1200 mm diameter filters, if necessary, the interior of the filter can be accessed for manipulation.
