The Multicyclone 16 centrifugal prefilter is a prefiltration device capable of saving water and reducing the maintenance of any pool filter, it does not contain filtration elements to clean or replace.

Its operation uses centrifugal force to separate dirt particles from the water. The water is conducted through a diversion guide to a set of hydrocyclones, where it enters with a tangential flow to produce a centrifugal effect. This causes the sediment to go to the outer wall of the hydrocyclone where it descends to a sediment deposit, returning the clean water to rise towards the outlet.

It is installed between the pool pump and the filtration system (sand filter, cartridges, etc.). The minimum and maximum flow required is between 3 m³/h and 30 m³/h.

The Multicyclone 16 centrifugal prefilter is capable of retaining up to 70% of particles between 50 and 80 microns, and 100% of particles above.

Being a solid system with no parts that require movement, maintenance is practically zero. Filtration is carried out thanks to the centrifugal action of water.
